24 – 28 juni 2024: 28th Annual Meeting of the International Society for the History of the Neurosciences (ISHN)
The 2024 annual meeting of ISHN will be held on the UCLA campus in Los Angeles, California, 24-28 June 2024. It will have a Hybrid format: morning sessions will be combined live/in person and remote/online and afternoon sessions will be live/in person only.
Membership requirements: all papers must have at least one author who shall be a member of the ISHN at the time of the meeting. The language of the conference and abstract/symposium proposals is English.
Please include all of the following information for each proposed paper: Title of paper / Full name(s) of Author(s) / Affiliation(s) / Email address(es) / Full street address(es) / Presentation format: (1) Live/In Person or (2) Remote/Online
Abstract requirements
- Maximum of 250 words for the body of the abstract
- Indicate preference for Platform or Poster (Each platform paper is scheduled to be 30 minutes in duration; this is the combined duration of the paper presentation and its following discussion/questions-and-answers)
- Indicate audiovisual requirements
Symposium requirements
- Proposals for symposia must include 3 or 4 presentations
- Symposia should expect 20 minutes of presentation time for each paper and 30 minutes of discussion for the entire session
- Abstracts for the presentations must each meet the “Abstract requirements”
